Windows 11 build 22000.120 is now live for Insider users: What’s new and how to download and more

Microsoft has started rolling out the fifth cumulative update for Windows 11 RTM Build 22000. The update carries the build 22000.120 and is now available to download to all Dev and Beta channels Insider users.
The update brings minor changes and improvements to the operating system that includes a compact right-click context menu, a new family widget, bug fixes and more. Here’s a complete list of changes that Windows 11 build 22000.120 brings.
New Family widget
The latest Windows 11 build brings a new Family widget for Microsoft accounts and is available in all languages and regions. The widget shows recent activities from members of the linked Microsoft family group.
Notification badge
The update also includes notification badging for the Chat icon on the Taskbar. It’s a phased rollout, so it will be available to select Insider users at first.
Compact right-click context menu
Microsoft has updated the File Explorer context menu with a more compact layout for mouse users.
Updated ‘New’ button in the File Explorer
In addition to the compact context menu, Microsoft has also improved the New button in the File Explorer’s command bar and integrated a dropdown menu to it.
In addition to the changes, the company has also addressed a couple of bugs with this build.
The update is now available to download in the Dev and Beta Insider channels and to download the update, head to Settings -> Update & Security -> Windows Update and click on Check for updates button.
