Looking for the best PC gaming Black Friday deals? We’ve got exactly what you can expect from the big day below.

The most important thing to note about PC gaming is that once you get into it, you’ll probably never look back. With so many easier ways to get in than there were a few years ago, there’s never been a better time to consider moving from console to PC.

Whether you want to game on the go with a Steam Deck or Ayaneo, or simply prefer the comfort of your home and chair, here are the best deals we’re expecting this Black Friday.

Gaming PC Black Friday deals: our predictions and tips

Newegg Prebuilt PC Black Friday Price Protection Deals

If you buy it now and the price drops further in November, you’ll be refunded by Newegg.

Opting for a pre-built PC isn’t as bad as it used to be. With gaming booming in ways people didn’t expect, many companies are now trying to compete for attention. Don’t let the big flashing lights and cool-looking cases fool you, though.

Amazon and Walmart will continue to be plagued by pretenders to the throne, while other companies will use star power to get around their lackluster builds.

Our guidance on this is to look for any of the following and consider whether you want to get ahead of the game or don’t mind saving some money with older hardware.

What to look for in a ready-made PC:

  • AMD Ryzen 5000 or higher
  • Intel 12th generation and above
  • RTX 30 series and above
  • Radeon RX6000 and above

The reason for these rules? We’ve seen people on Amazon selling i7-3770s for hundreds of dollars and 8th Gen Intel PCs still hanging around at Walmart. If you’re going pre-built, you’ll always want to try and steer to places like Newegg and Best Buy, which are pretty good at making sure their pre-built options are up to date.

We expect many last-gen systems to see price reductions as well, with anything on a 12th Gen Intel probably being the best choice for future-proofing, thanks to support for DDR5 and PCIe 4.0 going forward.

Gaming laptop deals for Black Friday

If you’re looking for laptops, we’ve dedicated a whole other article to it! With innovations and CES 2023 on the horizon, we expect certain stores to discount their huge stock of laptops this Black Friday.

In fact, we’re already seeing it with Best Buy, which is currently having its early Black Friday sale. While not eye-popping, the other sales currently happening around the Black Friday ones give us a huge hint as to what the price cuts will bring.

Trust us, it’s worth the wait.

Expected gaming PC components and parts Black Friday deals

We expect PC part prices to plummet this Black Friday, with a catch. While we should see DDR4, NVMe drives, and older CPUs and GPUs drop in price, it’s still a long way from current-gen stuff to show up here.

DDR5 RAM is still massively overpriced due to the current manufacturing issues plaguing the world, and the less attention paid to Nvidia’s decision to launch a 4090 for $1500 during a global crisis, the better.

Budget builders or those who just want to add those extra parts to improve their performance, this is your lucky day though. As we’ve seen from Amazon and Best Buy throughout the year, these parts you’ll never want to buy at MSRP will almost always come down to a more tolerable price.

However, if you’re looking to upgrade your PC this Black Friday, there’s never been a better day to consider getting those bits and pieces you’re missing.

B&H PC Part Black Friday Price Protection Deals

So far, B&H mainly has a lot of storage space on sale. Until then, we’ll definitely keep an eye out for the rest of their PC range. Interestingly, they have Intel 13th generation CPUs with a $25 discount.

Newegg PC Part Black Friday Price Protection Deals

If you buy it now and the price drops further in November, you’ll be refunded by Newegg.

Black Friday deals on PC gaming accessories: what to look out for

This is the best time of the year to grab all those accessories you’ve been looking for. From the headset to the keyboard, no matter what it is, we bring you only the best options.

What you’ll probably see is a lot of headsets, mice, and keyboards coming down in price. In addition, other items such as USB cables and niche peripherals (macropads, etc.) should see a significant drop in price as stores try to empty their warehouses.

If you’re a content creator, now’s the best time to grab something from Elgato and other game capture hardware. We’ve seen multiple points throughout the year where things like the Stream Deck and capture cards have come down in price significantly.

Expect PC gaming monitor deals this Black Friday

Gaming monitors are bound to drop in price this holiday season. The much smaller 1080p models – regardless of refresh rate – are likely to see the deepest cuts, but keep your eyes peeled for 1440p monitors too.

These mid-range, but all-round monitors are ideal for those who want to experience their games in style – without any loss of frames. 4K monitors are also getting discounts, as the panels have become significantly cheaper in recent years.

Black Friday deals on PC games: what to expect

Virtually every store will have PC games on sale. Titles from earlier this year and late last year will be reduced in price, knowing that Steam’s Christmas sale will creep right after Black Friday.

You should also keep your eyes peeled for Epic, which has a habit of handing out vouchers to help with purchases, and third-party stores like Green Man Gaming and Amazon.

As for the games that get discounts? Look at a year and then Google which games came out that year. That’s your answer, because it will be pretty much all of them. Maybe not the latest Call of Duty, but that’s to be expected.
